This is a nice set. The back and the seat cushions are soft and really comfortable. I do really like boring tan/beige colors. It’s so pleasing to the eyes, but this set also has an option for red cushions which looks just as good. Not too sure how weather resistant they are, because we don’t generally leave our cushions outside, since it gets really windy here. The seat cushion has a velcro seat tie, but the back cushion does not. We’re 5’3” – 5’10”, between 115 – 170lbs. We sit cozily in these chairs with our feet easily only the foot rest bars. These are high swivel chairs and high table, so little kids will need to be helped up onto it, but it’s not so high that a 4’10” shorty couldn’t get on without being awkward or anything. The swiveling is solid – stiff enough that it doesn’t swing around in the wind, but easy enough to swivel when needed. The table has a tempered glass that feels pretty decent and tough too. It’s easy to clean. The metal frames on this whole set is surprisingly light. I mean, they’re heavy enough that it’s going to stay put, and even pretty strong winds shouldn’t knock it over, but I guess I really thought it would be heavier. With that said though, this whole set is over 100lbs! The installation is really straight forward. Instructions are easy, and you won’t need tools, as it comes with it, BUT you’ll definitely want your own tools if you want to get things done FASTER and EASIER (like your own power drill or at least your own quality ratchet tool). The chairs were very easy to put together. It was the table that was deceptively difficult for 1 person. There was a lot of walking around to each corner of the table to tighten each screw just right. I must have walked around the table and squatted 20 times. What I expected the whole thing to be a 30 minute job turned into a 1.5 hour process with unwrapping and installation, and then an additional 20 minutes of cleaning up. There’s lots of cardboard to break down and lots of wrappings. But it can be done. I’d trust a lightweight, but experienced teenager to install it on her own, because it’s not heavy and the instructions are extremely straightforward. Maybe too straightforward when it comes to the table.
