I have a “mini” pig and heard through a group I’m in that a lot of pig parents have used these type of feeding dishes for their pigs. My pig gulps down her food so fast that she is constantly gassy and then wanting to eat again in an hour. She will not eat her food wet down either. Pig’s are always ready to eat as they lack the ability to “feel full “.By slowing down how quickly she eats she is able to go longer periods of time playing, sleeping or being. I guess it would depend on the size of the pet food nuggets your pet eats. I give this dish a 2 thumbs up for my pig and I believe it would be every bit as great for dogs as well.
